Vetted Leads Ltd (“we”, “us”) operates MyRemovalQuote.co.uk (the “Site”). We are the data controller for personal information you submit on the Site under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

Information we collect

• Contact details you submit in a quote request (name, phone, email).
• Move details (postcodes, dates, property size, inventory notes, photos you upload).
• Account details if you sign in (email, hashed password managed by our auth provider, role).
• Basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages viewed) for security and analytics.

How we use your data

• To match your quote request with vetted removal companies who cover your route.
• To share your contact and move details with up to five matched partners so they can quote.
• To operate your account, provide the service, and send transactional messages (e.g. quote status).
• To detect fraud, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.

Our lawful bases are: contract (delivering the quote service you asked for), legitimate interests (operating and improving the platform, preventing fraud) and consent (optional marketing, cookies — see our Cookie Policy).

Who we share it with

Matched removal companies on our network (only after you submit a quote request), our infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email, analytics), and authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Quote requests and account data are retained for as long as your account is active and for up to 3 years afterwards for legal and dispute-resolution purposes, then deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Security

Data is transmitted over TLS and stored with our managed infrastructure provider with row-level access controls. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
